The mission of Bafumbira Beza is to explore, preserve, and re-imagine the Bafumbira culture while connecting it to everyday socioeconomic development of Bafumbira, mostly youth and adolescents.
Core Objectives
- Cultural Preservation: Preventing the loss of the Rufumbira language and cultural practices, which are at risk of being lost within the global mixture or as the new generation gets mixes with other cultures.
- Re-affirmation of Identity: Re-affirming the Bafumbira as a distinct indigenous native tribe and culture within Uganda.
- Socioeconomic Development: Link culture to socioeconomic development, especially among the youth and adolescents.
